CSNABC,
Please see the Google Doc link below for February's CSNABC General Membership minutes.
I have added several comments that answer questions/future planning items, so even if you attended, please take a peek.
Next meeting will be Sharita Flaherty from Bucks County Dept of Health
She will be presenting Psychological First Aid Techniques for the Public Sector Worker
This presentation comes HIGHLY recommended by our very own Stacey Hickmott, who recently attended it.   This presentation will start at 5:30pm, with our general membership meeting from 5-5:30pm.
(I do still need to confirm that the BCIU is available, but assume it is there as of this time.)
Presenter, Ann Stillwater, was great.
She provided a link to her presentation that I included in the minutes. She does ask that if it is viewed, that we keep count and let her know how many more of us saw it.  Please email me a confirmation if you or your staff view it.
If anyone is interested in potentially becoming a Second Victim Support person for school nurses in the county who have a traumatic experience, we could apply for a grant through the Highmark Foundation to fund the training through CSNABC as a non-profit. A few of us chatted after the presentation about this initiative. Reach out if you have interest in being trained so we can figure out if we need to pursue funding.
If you weren't present, but that sounds interesting, a description of these types of one of these types of programs can be found here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5051469/
Funny Fundraiser
Reminder that our Funny Fundraiser is NEXT Friday, March 7!
I noticed that Comedy Cabernet's Friday night shows have SOLD OUT almost every weekend last month. If you have not purchased tickets yet, I suggest you do so before the venue sells out!! They are not holding a block of tickets for us, all tickets are first come, first serve - we get a portion of ticket sales through our link below:

Attached
You will find flyers for the comedy show, scholarship application, raffle tickets, and the completed art project was worked on and submitted to the NASN Journal Cover Contest this winter. Please feel free to use/print these as you see fit.
I plan to have a copy of the art project printed at Staples on post-size.  I'll report back at the next meeting on how it comes out if anyone is interested in group order, which lowers the cost per poster.
**I HIGHLY recommend screenshotting the raffle flyer and posting to your social media if you are active on any platform with friends/family. Within two hours of posting it, I sold $50 in tickets. The best part? It was to 4 people that are not at my schools, but I do see periodically/locally.  This large amount would not have been reflected in my school dress-down days (and shaking-down my family for purchases, LOL).  I fill out the stubs and send the purchaser a photo if I'm not planning on seeing them soon.
Thanks,
Jen Leachko
