Operating Room Registered Nurse New

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The OR Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other items as needed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary interventions during surgery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including preoperative and postoperative documentation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Provide postoperative care and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
